I think her and Doomfist are super interesting because they both have no chance at redemption at this point. To me, they’re the only talon members who don’t. We’re not totally sure where Sombra lies morally, Widow isn’t there by her own free will, and Reaper was a good guy at some point and could be that again.

(Though I guess we should probably not have the only 2 serious baddies be a black man and a woman while there’s not a single “evil” white man)

Absolutely. It’s very clear Widowmaker and Reaper are tragic figures, Sombra is morally gray, but Doomfist and Moira are something else.

People are obsessed with finding reedemable qualities in villains, but not all of them are tragic figures. In fact we need credible villians that are just pure evil.
