I adore how she carries his head low, at her side, and not aloft in triumph. This is not a self-aggrandizing hero lauding her great deed. This is a woman who wanted to be left the fuck alone.
Also look at her body. The double hips. The asymetrical boobs. She’s thin, but she’s realistic as hell. That’s a real woman.
And the look in her eyes. Damn.
in case you ever need to show someone a picture of a nonsexualized nude woman, here’s one for you.
I have a lot of feelings about this myth like y’all just leave my girl a l o n e
AU where Minerva McGonagall has a little less faith in Albus Dumbledore so she does agree to leave Harry at the Dursleys.
But then proceeds to move right in next door with her wife because Albus never said that she couldn’t.
So Harry grows up with two grandmalike aunties next door, who basically finnagle him into living with them in all but name. It’s great, until he gets to Hogwarts because he keeps accidentally calling McGonagall Aunt Min instead of Professor.
u rly do need friends who arent afraid to call u a fucking dipshit in real life. like friends who r only blindly supportive arent rly friends, u need people who will call u out on being a god damn sack of hammers sometimes bc everyone is and only ppl who r actually worth keeping around will tell u abt it
ppl who start fights w u over u being a fucking dipshit r the ones u wanna keep man ive had those ppl save my ass so many times, esp when it comes to having depression and being actively dangerous to myself a lot. sometimes it takes someone telling u that ur being a ridiculous piece of shit to wake u up and make u realize that, heck, u R, y’know ?
like all that i support uwu shit is fine until the rubber meets the road and those ppl dont even tell u when ur house is burnin down. stick to ppl who give more of a shit about ur wellbeing than ur feelings, its how u get good friends
hey guys in case you havent heard already this movie is coming out in august. and the main character is a lesbian. which is great and i read this book as a kid and it was pretty good but i definitely shouldnt have read it when i did. please please please make sure that you are mentally prepared before going to watch this movie. the movie is about a girl whos sent to conversion therapy and its not happy. if they follow the books plot there is not an actual happy ending theres a kinda bittersweet ending but its definitely not happy. this movie is going to be depressing and dark and sad and it is going to be a hard movie to watch and i want to make sure ppl are prepared for it. there are a lot of blogs posting about it and going “go see this movie!! it has lesbian representation!!” which is true but kinda dangerous? my best friend and i read the book when we were like 14 and both of us have agreed that the movie will be too much for us to watch even as 19 year olds. if youre looking for a fun gay movie with a lesbian character its not this.
Bisexual community: We define bisexuality as attraction to people of the same gender and different genders.
Biphobes: Aaaaactually bisexuality means “attracted to men and women” because the prefix “bi” means “two”.
Bisexual community: Okay, that’s a really narrow and finicky way of examining things, but yes the prefix bi means two. Which means that bisexual people are attracted to two different gender groups. Like, for example, people of the same gender as them and people of a different gender than them. Which is what we said. Our definition of our own sexual orientation is still right even with your narrow and finicky standards applied to it.
Biphobes: Sorry, I didn’t catch any of that. I have my entire head and neck firmly lodged up my own ass. Bi means two. Bisexual means
