It is really weird that Charlie just immediately responded to Rons letter and was like YEAH I CAN SMUGGLE THAT ILLEGAL DRAGON until u consider that he was probably hagrids favourite student while he was at Hogwarts and probably spent half his time at hagrids hut learning about all these creatures so ofc he would know about hagrids insanity when it comes to safety and understand why they needed to smuggle a dragon out
